Day 7
The alarm was set for 8am but I’d already had 2 alarming episodes during the night and I’m blaming that kebab. Apocalyptic. So, I decided to skip breakfast and Joss did the same to gain some extra sleep. We slept in until about 10 then we got ourselves ready and packed everything up. The hotel said they’d happily look after our bags (for free) as we were still early for our flight so we headed into town for a stroll. I feel that I have become a lot more Austrian and that Vienna really knows me. A thought confirmed by whilst waiting to cross a road, a lorry pulled up, carrying a portaloo - so appropriate. It had got a LOT colder. We stopped off in a cafe and surprise surprise I had a toasted sandwich whilst Joss had a roll and croissant. I was keen to have something plain for obvious reasons….
